SHIPPING

Hope Technology Australia supports local Australian retailers. All online orders placed via hopetech.com.au are fulfilled and dispatched directly from BikeChain HQ, Australia, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Shipping Fees

  • A flat shipping fee of $15 AUD applies to orders under $100 AUD
  • Free standard shipping is provided on orders over $100 AUD

Dispatch Timeframes

  • In-stock items are generally dispatched within 1–3 business days
  • Delivery estimates:
    • Metro areas: 1–3 business days
    • Regional areas (including WA, QLD & NT): 5–7 business days

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on location, carrier delays, or peak periods.

High Demand Periods

During peak periods such as sales events or Christmas, dispatch and delivery times may increase by 1–2 additional business days.

Special Order Items

Some Hope products may be special order, made-to-order or limited production items. Dispatch and delivery timeframes for these products will vary and will be clearly indicated on the relevant product page.

RETURNS

We want you to be confident with your purchase. Please read the following carefully.

Change of Mind Returns

You may return eligible items for a refund provided that:

  • The return request is lodged within 30 days of delivery
  • Items are unused, uninstalled, and in original condition
  • All original packaging, tags, manuals and accessories are included
  • The product has not been ridden, fitted, installed or modified
  • Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns:

  • Installed or used components
  • Products showing signs of fitting, riding or tool marks
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Made-to-order or special-order products

This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

RETURNS PROCESS

  1. Scroll to the bottom of this page and click “Submit a Request”
  2. Complete the return form with accurate details
  3. You will receive email confirmation of your request
  4. A team member will assess your request and provide next steps

⚠️ Please note: Do not send products back without an approved return request, as this may delay processing or result in the item being returned to you.

Incorrect or Faulty Items

  • We will provide a prepaid return label where applicable
  • Additional information or images may be required before approval
  • If a returned item does not meet the return conditions, we will notify you with further details

WARRANTY

All Hope Technology products sold via hopetech.com.au are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Warranty Claims

  • Submit a warranty request via “Submit a Request”
  • Provide clear photos and a description of the issue
  • Proof of purchase is required
  • Some warranty claims may require assessment by the manufacturer, which can extend processing times

Warranty Outcomes

Depending on the assessment, approved warranty claims may result in:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund
  • Store credit

Warranty remedies are determined in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and manufacturer guidelines.

REFUNDS

  • Approved refunds are processed within 3 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Refund timing may vary depending on your financial institution (up to 5 business days)
  • Discounts, vouchers or promotional pricing are refunded at the net amount paid

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a product has a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement or refund.
If a product has a minor failure, we may offer a repair or replacement.

APPLICABLE LAW

These Shipping, Returns & Warranty terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
